Vanuatu’ Clearance Ports
There are six official clearance ports in Vanuatu. The two main ones are:
Port Vila - Efate Island
Luganville - Espritu Santo Island.
Others options are:
Sola - Vanua Lava (Banks Islands)
Litz Litz - Malekula
Lenakel - Tanna
Mystery Island - Aneityum (Unofficial Port - permission needed)
Note: Not all services are available at all Clearance Ports at all times.
Clearance on Aneityum Island is by special permission only, if government officials are not present, we can arrange to have them flown in at the cost of the vessel.
Port Resolution in Tanna is not a clearance port, however if you would like to clear in there, we are able to request permission from the relevant government offices and arrange for the officials to travel over the hill from Lenakel to make the clearance.
You must notify customs by phone or email at least 24 hours prior to arrival in Vanuatu.
